The Guruvayoor Temple

 The Guruvayoor Temple is located in the town of Guruvayoor, in the Thrissur district of Kerala, India. It is one of the most famous temples in Kerala, and is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. The temple is said to have been founded by the sage Parashurama, and is believed to house the deity Vishnu in his form as Krishna. The temple attracts millions of visitors each year, and is one of the busiest pilgrimage sites in India.

The Guruvayoor Temple is considered to be one of the most sacred sites in Hinduism, and is often referred to as the "Temple of Kerala". The temple is said to be the site where Krishna was born, and is also believed to be the place where he performed his famous "leelas" (divine play). The temple is also home to a large number of shrines and temples dedicated to other Hindu deities, such as Shiva, Parvati, and Hanuman.

The Guruvayoor Temple complex is spread over an area of around 40 acres, and includes a number of smaller temples and shrines. The main entrance to the temple complex is through the "Gopuram", which is a massive gate tower decorated with intricate carvings. The temple complex also includes a number of water tanks, which are used for holy ablutions.

The Guruvayoor Temple is open to visitors from early morning until late evening, and there is no entry fee. However, photography is not allowed inside the temple complex, and visitors are requested to dress modestly.
